This is a post from my sister.
Shout out to PaPa Johns in Middleburg!!! I ordered pizza to take to the guys that are working at our house. When I went in the guy asked me how I was doing - I said "ok I guess". He said " do U have power?" I said "no it will be forever!" He said "really where do u live" I said "Black Creek we lost everything!" Then he said " put your money away! I got this!" Got me crying like a big ole baby!!!!
I arrived at like 9:45 ish. The Open sign was on and the door was ajar. I entered and was barely acknowledged, though my wait was short. The lady mentioned that they weren't placing anymore orders, but said her register was still open and she could take me. I politely apologized and said I didn't want to be an inconvenience and started to leave. I wasn't expecting any special treatment. The girl persisted, and mentioned again that I could order. So I did. The wait for the pie was quick, but upon it's completion, the girl sullenly says my name, and hands me my pizza. In the process she made it a point to not look at me. Intentionally looking at the bathroom. I'm not going to sit here and make a huge deal out of it, but it made the interaction for me pretty awkward. I had a 5 dollar bill sitting in my right pocket to show my appreciation for her service. But because of that, I think I'll save it for their friendly delivery drivers next time I order from them. Overall experience was lackluster. But man that was still a great pizza.
I love this place. Order pizza sometimes twice a week.
Papa John's has some of the best pizzas, whether pickup our delivery!! My favorite is the Mediterranean Veggie on thin crust with extra sauce...even my friends all say the same thing!! You will always find good deals and coupons. The only reason I will not give 5 stars is due to the loss of multiple, multiple Rewards Points earned...if you sign up, and miss the fine print, i.e., if you don't use your points by a certain date, you will lose your points. This forces you to buy, or lose your rewards. If you are a single person, or even a couple, or a family, who just cannot afford to buy, or don't care to eat pizza as often, then you ultimately end up with no rewards for shopping with them. I still highly recommend them for good pizza, but you decide if those rewards are worth it, and don't feel obligated to hurry up and buy/use your rewards points just so you don't lose them. I would actually consider buying from them more, if I had all of my points...with friends, at work, etc.. (And it is not like the Rewards are good for a long time, because I tried to order using some of my Rewards Points, only to find a large portion of them had expired 3 days prior! And, I did not receive any notice that my points were going to expire, or I would not have been so upset; and, it did effect how often I do utilize Papa John's, which is now less. I even contacted them to talk about such, and received no response. Sorry Papa John's, you're good, but not that good...and I don't like such tactics.)
Best place to eat good price and nice people
