I deal with the USPS on a Daily basis. I have a great delivery driver out here on blue jay named Carlos. He is excellent. There is a temp guy that fills in once a week that drives an older red jeep. He is one of the lazy postmen people up here are reviewing. Carlos does the job right and the other guy comes in about 30mins ahead of Carlos, because of his 'efficiency' i'm sure he is rewarded positively by the numbers for doing a bad job in reality because of corporate metrics.
Having said that the staff at the Middleburg post office are Absolutely Amazing! After the hurricane they had a generator running... to charge the delivery scanners.... Not to give them a/c or light. One of the employees had a flashlight taped to his head with USPS tape and they were in the pitch black sorting packages for the next day. It was like a scene from a movie, I went in the back dock and delivered about 35 parcels to go out to my customers so I saw this all first hand.
If it were possible to give neg. star reviews...the carriers would rate just that! Packages will NEVER be delivered to your home. Sometimes my regular post is delivered. IF they are able to smash the contents and stuff a package into the postbox- consider yourself lucky!

They are hard working people and they deserve our respect. They consistently go above and beyond and I see them every day so I know first hand. They are just people like you and me though and if you were under the immense load they are you might not be pleasant at all yet they do the job with a smile on their faces.
The post office is nice but getting in touch with someone via phone is pretty much impossible. I called 3x and had someone pick up and hang up on me the 3rd time. Finally the fifth time I called someone answered and kindly answered my question (which determined whether I made a trip up there). The man who answered was very helpful but either the number on Google is wrong or they literally just don't want to talk to you or have time to answer the phone.
P.S. Over 2000 Packages shipped using USPS this year and not one lost.
This is a great post office. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They get you in an out quickly even when there is a long line.
I called many times and I speak to correct the person who deliver the mail. She is doing to much mistake delivering the mail......they didn'nt do anything to fix that problem.
The entire problem facing the USPS is the privatization of the post office and the under-staffing issues arising from the year over year increase in flow of parcels.
