We could not be more thankful for Dr Myers and his team. Our baby boy had a significant lip and tongue tie that was interfering with nursing. After a week of painful and stressful feedings and my newborn losing weight, I called Myers Pediatrics and they got me in the next day.
We adore Dr. K. She has some of the best interactions with my children that I've ever witnessed by a care provider. She remembers them without looking at a chart and always has a calm and cheerful attitude.
I wouldn't need braces if it weren't for them! I had a baby tooth that hadn't come out and asked them about it. They told me "It's just taking it's sweet little time". Because they didn't pull it out, the adult tooth grew behind and made the tooth next to it crooked. They didn't pull it out because they figured they'd get more money from braces. They talk to you like you're 5, too. They told my mom that "Each tooth has it's own little story" paired with a baby voice.
His assistant thoroughly explained the procedure and follow up care instructions, and Dr Myers completed the frenectomy in less than 10 minutes. With the laser, there is minimal discomfort (only topical anesthetic needed), no bleeding, no swelling, and our son didn't show any signs of pain or discomfort in the days following the procedure. We were able to nurse immediately following the procedure, and I noticed an improvement right away. Our son is now a month old and we are nursing beautifully. Thank you Dr Myers!
